Employment opportunities

OUR WORKFORCE

We pride ourselves in hiring locally firs. When specific skills are unavailable locally, we invest in training our people. If expertise is still required, we conduct a national search before considering international candidates.

CAML aims to increase female employees within the business. To support this, Sasa strives to ensure that at least 20% of candidates interviewed for eligible roles are women, helping us attract and provide more opportunities for women in our workforce.

We are committed to attracting the next generation into the mining industry. In 2023, 53% of our new hires were under the age of 30.

PAY AND BENEFITS

We increase our employees’ salaries annually, surpassing inflation rates, including a 15% increase last year.

BENEFITS

Sasa employees receive salary supplements for overtime, night shifts and Sunday hours. Additionally, our base salary is around 60% higher than the Macedonian average.

We offer and increased number of leave days for those working in operational areas. We also provide paid days leave for various personal and family needs.

CARING FOR OUR EMPLOYEES

The health of our employees is paramount. All our employees undergo annual medical checks tailored to their specific occupations, conducted by external medical specialists.
